refive announces new COO after reaching major milestones

On the heels of successfully closing a six-figure pre-seed round led by European VC Mustard Seed Maze & hitting the important milestone of 1 million transactions processed, refive is proud to announce the addition of Antonio Nicotra to the Management team. Antonio Nicotra verstärkt das Team als Chief Operating Officer und wird die Bereiche Partnermanagement, Vertrieb und Operations verantworten. Sein Verantwortungsbereich liegt somit im Ausbau des refive-Netzwerkes, welches einerseits aus kleinen, mittleren und großen Einzelhandels- und Gastronomiebetrieben und andererseits aus POS & Technologiepartnern besteht.

Antonio, was most recently Vice President at OptioPay, where he built out the company’s massive partner network of retailers and managed a number of banking partnerships. He brings over 10 years of experience and network in the fintech and retailtech sectors with a strong focus on growth, customer success and operations, previously holding roles at Viafintech (formerly Barzahlen).
